We are looking for a young male worker between the ages of 21 and 35 who is responsible, patient, and comfortable working with a male consumer. The worker will help with daily activities, provide supervision, encourage independence, and make sure the consumer is safe and comfortable. The worker must respect the consumer's privacy and follow all agency policies. Responsibilities Assist the male consumer with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily activities. Provide supervision and support to keep the consumer safe. Prepare meals and snacks. Help with light cleaning, laundry, and keeping the home organized. Accompany the consumer to the library, gym, park, doctor appointments, and other activities. Encourage the consumer to make choices and be as independent as possible. Communicate with the family and supervisor about any concerns. Follow the care plan and agency rules. Keep all client information private and confidential. Requirements Male worker preferred. Age 25 to 35 preferred. Must have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in home care. Must speak and understand English. Must have a valid driver's license . Must have a reliable car . Must have current car registration and car insurance . Must be responsible, patient, dependable, and respectful. Must be comfortable driving the consumer to appointments and community activities. Must be able to work independently and follow directions.
