Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a 24-Hour Home Health Aide (HHA) providing compassionate, continuous care to clients in the comfort of their homes. This role is focused on delivering around-the-clock personal care, safety monitoring, companionship, and daily living support , including daytime, evening, overnight, and extended shifts as needed. As a 24-hour HHA, you will play an essential role in maintaining continuity of care while helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and as independent as possible in their home environment. You will work closely with clients, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to meet individual care needs and respond appropriately to changes in a client's condition. This position is ideal for dependable, compassionate caregivers who are comfortable providing extended-hour care and thrive in a home-based healthcare setting. Duties Provide 24-hour and extended-shift personal care assistance , including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support. Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including eating, toileting, transferring, repositioning, and maintaining personal hygiene. Provide daytime and overnight care , including safety checks, companionship, comfort measures, and assistance with nighttime routines. Assist with patient transfers using appropriate techniques and equipment, including Hoyer lifts. Monitor clients' health and well-being by observing vital signs, recognizing changes in condition, and promptly reporting concerns to the appropriate healthcare professional. Provide medication assistance or administration only as permitted by applicable home healthcare regulations, care plans, and scope-of-practice requirements . Perform catheter care and other assigned care tasks in accordance with established care plans and applicable regulations. Support clients with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and other memory-care needs by implementing individualized care strategies and maintaining a safe environment. Provide companionship and emotional support throughout extended and overnight shifts to promote comfort and quality of life. Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe home environment. Maintain consistent routines and continuity of care during extended periods in the client's home. Accurately document patient interactions, care activities, observations, and other required information in EHR/EMR systems. Maintain strict patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements and applicable home

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 168.0 per week
