Compassionate Connections Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Caregivers to join our team in the Mount Dora area. As a Caregiver, you will play an important role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to seniors and individuals who need support in their homes. You will help clients maintain their independence, safety, comfort, and overall quality of life. Responsibilities Provide compassionate personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) Provide mobility and transfer assistance as needed Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping Support clients with incontinence care and other daily needs Provide medication reminders as permitted by the client's care plan and applicable regulations Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients Follow each client's individualized care plan and agency policies Communicate changes in a client's condition or needs to the appropriate supervisor Communicate professionally with clients, families, and members of the care team Provide companionship and emotional support Complete required documentation and shift notes accurately and on time Participate in required training and ongoing education Requirements No previous caregiving experience required — previous caregiving or healthcare experience is a plus Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude Passion for providing high-quality care and helping others Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable transportation preferred Must be willing to complete all required onboarding and training AHCA Level 2 background screening required Must meet all applicable employment and agency requirements Must be available to work assigned shifts Schedule & Availability Caregiver coverage is needed between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM, 7 days a week. Applicants should have availability within these hours. Specific shifts and schedules will be assigned based on client needs and caregiver availability. AHCA Level 2 Background Screening Candidates must successfully complete the required AHCA Level 2 fingerprint-based background screening before working independently with clients.
