We're currently seeking a Part-Time Front Desk (Patient Care) Specialist to join our Oviedo team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a caring, professional, and team-oriented environment — someone who enjoys being the welcoming face that helps patients feel supported from the moment they arrive. Position Summary The Front Desk (Patient Care) Specialist serves as the first point of contact for our patients — providing exceptional customer service, ensuring efficient scheduling, and supporting our providers and administrative staff with day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist patients in a professional, compassionate, and welcoming manner. Schedule appointments, manage patient check-ins/check-outs, and verify insurance information. Collect copays and update patient records accurately in the EHR system. Communicate efficiently with clinical, billing, and administrative teams to ensure smooth patient flow. Handle incoming calls, messages, and patient inquiries with empathy and professionalism. Support compliance with HIPAA and practice policies at all times. Qualifications Prior experience in a medical office or mental-health setting preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with technology (EHR, email, scheduling tools). Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Availability for part-time hours , primarily during weekdays, with flexibility for coverage as needed.
