Full Job Description Pay:
From $16.00 per hour Job description: Big Smiles Adult Day Care is seeking a compassionate, reliable HHA / Driver to join our team in Pembroke Pines, FL. This role combines hands on participant care inside our center with safe daily transportation using commercial vans. This is a full-time, or possibly part time, on site position.
Key Responsibilities:
Transportation:
Provide safe daily pickups and drop-offs for participants to and from the center in company commercial vans.
Participant Care:
Assist with activities of daily living, ensuring safety, comfort, and well-being.
Engagement:
Help facilitate fun activities like arts and crafts, bingo, dominoes, and social interaction.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Ability to be a driver with a valid drivers license. Is comfortable/has experience driving vans. (Must be 24+ years old to satisfy commercial van insurance requirements).
  • Experience in providing adult care and compassion.
  • Completion of in-services training.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • A reliable individual who is passionate about supporting the quality of life of those in the third age.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
This position requires a Level 2 background check through the Care Provider Background Screening Clearing house.
