About The Caring Place The Caring Place strives to provide excellent quality care and a safe environment for our residents. We aim to provide independence to all our clients that we serve. The Caring Place has two group homes located in in Riverview, FL and Seffner, FL. Our Riverview location is an all-male Behavioral Group Home. Our Seffner location is a Standard Residential Group Home with male residents. We are looking for people who love working with individuals with disabilities and providing proper care through verbal and physical assistance. Opportunities available in Riverview, FL Riverview
  • All Male Behavioral Focus Group Home Position Shift:
    1. Overnight Shift (Sunday
  • Wednesday 11pm
  • 9am) Responsibilities and Duties Experience individuals who understand how to deescalate aggressive adult males Employees must be able to work in a team environment and understand that we function in a family-like atmosphere but that shouldn't compromise that work efficiency.
Ensures the health and safety for individuals are met. Individuals must be willing to provide daily ADL assistance, house-care, completing accurately various documents. Completes housekeeping duties on a daily basis to ensure a safe and clean environment. This includes but is not limited to washing dishes, cooking, stripping and making beds, laundry, taking out trash, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, mopping and sweeping all areas, dusting as needed. Be willing to go on community outings, and to engage in conversation with each client. participating in various outings with individuals with disabilities, create a fun environment at home, clean the home, and never compromise the health. Teach the clients how to become more self-sufficient in their daily lives. We want each client to live a healthy and full-filling life. We need a team that supports this belief. Qualifications Must have 1 year of experience working or volunteering with elderly or developmental disability Minimum age requirement of 18 High school diploma/GED or equivalent Valid Driver's License Clean Driving Record CPR & First Aid Local Law Medication Administration Training PCM (Riverview Location) Behavioral Assistance ( Riverview Location)
