The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and those with disabilities, ensuring they receive the care and attention necessary for their well-being. This role requires a blend of personal care skills, empathy, and the ability to work independently in a home setting. Duties Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide catheter care and support with mobility as needed. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences. Monitor and record vital signs to ensure client health is maintained. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being. Assist with memory care strategies for clients experiencing dementia or other cognitive impairments. Help clients with medication reminders and adherence to prescribed health plans. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client needs and progress. Qualifications Previous experience in senior care or patient care is preferred but not required. Knowledge of catheter care, meal preparation, vital signs monitoring, and dementia care is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for helping others. Ability to follow instructions and work independently while managing time effectively. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality at all times. Certification as a Home Health Aide or similar qualification is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided. Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
