Overview We are urgently seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join our dynamic caregiving team. This vital role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and medical needs. The ideal candidates will possess a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and experience working with diverse populations, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those in hospice or memory care settings. All positions are paid, including internships, emphasizing our commitment to supporting our caregivers' professional growth and well-being. Responsibilities Provide personalized patient care by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Observe and monitor patients' health status, including vital signs, medication adherence, and overall well-being. Administer medications accurately following medical documentation protocols and home healthcare regulations. Support patients with complex medical needs such as catheter care, end-of-life care, Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and memory care. Operate electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions and medical information securely while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Utilize patient transfer methods safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts and proper patient transfer techniques. Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe environment for clients. Communicate effectively with clients and their families to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure comfort and satisfaction. Follow all safety protocols including first aid, CPR certification, basic life support (BLS), and heavy lifting procedures to ensure both client and caregiver safety. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with healthcare privacy laws while providing compassionate home health or hospice care. Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home healthcare agencies is highly desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration procedures, and vital signs monitoring. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring specialized caregiving approaches. Familiarity with home health care assistance programs including hospice care, geriatrics, long-term care environments, and community-based services. Proven ability to handle sensitive situations such as end-of-life care with empathy and professionalism. Hands-on experience operating EHR systems or EMR platforms for accurate medical documentation. Knowledge of home & community care regulations ensures compliance with industry standards while delivering high-quality patient support. Strong caregiving skills complemented by excellent client communication abilities to foster trust and rapport.
