Job Description
New Journeys Residential Home Care is looking for qualified PCAs to work at our Residential Assisted Living Home. The PCA will assist residents with Dementia/Alzheimer's , Parkinson's with their ADL's such as Supporting mobility, walking, and transfers (such as moving from a bed to a wheelchair). Performing light housekeeping like laundry, washing dishes, and changing bed linens, Preparing meals, feeding and planning menus based on dietary needs. Offering social companionship and emotional support Communicate effectively with family members, care team, to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate records of the care provided, including daily activities, changes in the client's condition, and any incidents. Ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner and according to the care plan
