Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using proper manual handling and patient transfer methods like Hoyer lifts. Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates, ensuring timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Support medication administration under supervision, adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, utilizing memory care techniques and ensuring a safe environment. Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy preparations, and aseptic techniques in clinical settings like outpatient clinics or hospital units. Collaborate with nursing staff to deliver comprehensive patient service in acute care environments such as ICU, emergency medicine, or trauma centers. Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare standards including HIPAA and infection control protocols. Qualifications Valid CNA certification or HHA certification with current state licensure. Experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring sub-acute care. Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks for medical records management. Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and basic life support (BLS) certification. Prior experience in long-term care facilities, hospitals (including ICU or trauma centers), assisted living communities or home & community care environments is highly preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and demonstrate safe lifting practices during patient transfers.
