CNA Full Job Description LIVE-IN- Direct Support Professional Agency:

Elements of Intervention Would you like to make a difference every day in someone's life? In this role, you will carry out rewarding work and play a crucial role in the success of our agency and the individuals we serve.

Position Overview:

This is a LIVE-IN Direct Support Professional role located in Temple Terrace, Florida, where you will reside at the assigned Group Home- Monday through Friday (5 days a week) with weekends off . You'll have a private room with all utilities included, providing a supportive environment while allowing you to save on housing expenses.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct support and supervision at all times Assist or prompt with daily living activities such as meal preparation, shopping, housekeeping, and laundry Support behavior management, socialization, and recreational activities Assist or prompt with medication administration per healthcare guidelines Maintain a safe, clean, and organized living environment Ensure consumers get on/off transportation or are transported to ADT for services

Work Environment:

Live-in accommodation (Monday-Friday) Private room with utilities included

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience as a Direct Support Professional or Caregiver (adolescents/adults) Valid Florida Driver's License Reliable transportation and proof of insurance Must be 21 years of age or older Successfully pass a Level 2 background screening Current CPR/First Aid Certification Medication Administration Certificate A caring attitude and dedication to assisting others Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication Dependable, responsible, and compassionate approach
