Position Summary FirstLight Home Care of Southeast Georgia is seeking compassionate, dependable Caregivers to provide in-home support to clients throughout Glynn, Camden, Charlton, Brantley Counties, and surrounding areas! As a Caregiver, you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients by providing assistance with daily activities, personal care, companionship, and household tasks. You will work closely with clients and their families while helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and as independent as possible in their own homes. We offer Full-Time, Part-Time, and On-Call opportunities, with flexible scheduling available. Essential Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, mobility, and eating. Provide companionship, conversation, and meaningful engagement. Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan. Assist with light housekeeping and maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. Accompany or transport clients to appointments, activities, errands, and other approved outings as needed. Encourage and support client independence. Build positive and trusting relationships with clients and their families. Observe and report changes in a client's condition, behavior, or needs to the appropriate FirstLight supervisor. Follow the client's care plan and all FirstLight policies and safety procedures. Qualifications & Requirements Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude. Dependable, punctual, and responsible. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently in a client's home. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Current CPR and First Aid certification is required. Must be able to successfully pass a Level 2 background check. Previous caregiver or home care experience is preferred but not required . Preferred Qualifications The following are a plus: CNA, PCA, or other relevant caregiving training or certifications. Previous experience working with seniors. Experience caring for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease. Bilingual communication skills. Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or a related service field.
