In this important role, you'll provide personalized care, ensure safety, and encourage independence in a home health setting. Responsibilities include helping clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) like bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility; preparing healthy meals and assisting with meal planning; operating equipment such as Hoyer lifts and using safety devices properly; keeping the environment clean and safe while following infection control protocols; and accurately documenting observations, care, and incidents in line with healthcare standards. Preferred experience includes working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home and community care settings; knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's, memory; experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism; CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA certification; familiarity with patient monitoring, medication procedures, and care planning; the ability to safely perform heavy lifting; and a proven track record of compassionate care for seniors and those needing long-term or specialized assistance.
