Job Overview We are seeking 2 compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregivers to provide exceptional in-home care and support to clients requiring assistance with daily activities. Schedule will be 4 Days on- 3 days off 3 Days On- 4 days off Has to work a Saturday or a Sunday Duties Provide comprehensive personal care assistance, including help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as eating, toileting, and transferring using patient transfer methods and equipment like Wheeled walker and Wheelchair Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, managing medication administration, and recognizing changes in condition Maintain detailed medical documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems in compliance with home healthcare regulations and HIPAA standards Support clients with dementia or Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and end-of-life support with empathy and professionalism Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary needs and assist with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation Ensure a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols such as first aid, basic life support (BLS), CPR certification, and heavy lifting techniques when necessary Experience Prior experience working as a live-in caregiver or in home healthcare settings is highly preferred Demonstrated experience assisting individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities in a caregiving capacity Knowledge of medical terminology, catheter care, medication management, and patient transfer methods or palliative care environments, and geriatrics is advantageous Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families while maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines Experience working with EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical records management Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications such as BLS or hospice care are a plus Join us if you're passionate about making a difference through compassionate caregiving!
