Job Description
Overview Join our compassionate team as a Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring support with daily living activities. Whether working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments, you will be a vital part of a dedicated team committed to delivering respectful, attentive, and professional care. All positions are paid, reflecting the value we place on your dedication and expertise. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure resident health and safety Support residents with memory care needs related to Alzheimer's disease and dementia through personalized engagement and behavior management strategies Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to assist with resident transfers and repositioning Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and document all medication activities using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks and adhering to infection control procedures Qualifications Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly desirable Knowledge of ADLs assistance, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and memory care best practices Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; ongoing training preferred Ability to operate a standard passenger car safely for client transportation or errands Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is advantageous Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely throughout shifts Join us if you're passionate about providing empathetic caregiving that empowers individuals to live their best lives.
