Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in long-term care, senior care, or similar environments, and will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This role requires a caring demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team or independently. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Help clients with mobility and transfers as needed. Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients. Document daily activities and report any changes in client condition to supervisors. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients Ensure clients receive their medication on time Support clients who can't move on their own Assist clients with physical therapy exercises Cook meals according to the customer's restrictions Help customers with their shopping Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment Provide emotional support Inform physicians or supervisors about uncommon events Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency Skills Proven experience as personal care assistant Committed to health & safety Able to do housework and cooking Well-organized and reliable Excellent communication and people skills Positive and compassionate attitude Strong ethics Physical stamina CPR certified High school diploma or equivalent A valid driver's licence We invite qualified candidates who are passionate about providing high-quality care to apply for this rewarding position as a Personal Care Assistant.
