Von & Bick Healthcare Associates is seeking a dependable and compassionate PRN Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to an individual with intellectual/developmental disabilities. This position is ideal for someone looking for flexible, as-needed work who is willing to assist with coverage when the individual's regularly scheduled staff is unavailable or when additional support is needed.

$16.00 per hour

Hours:

Hours will vary based on the individual's needs and staff coverage. No minimum number of weekly hours is guaranteed.

Responsibilities include:

Provide person-centered support according to the individual's Individual Service Plan (ISP). Assist the individual with daily living activities and promote independence. Support participation in community activities, appointments, and other authorized activities as applicable. Provide appropriate supervision and ensure the individual's health and safety. Follow the individual's established routines, preferences, goals, and support needs. Complete required service documentation accurately and timely. Properly use EVV/Mobile Caregiver+ for scheduled services when applicable. Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality. Communicate concerns, changes in condition, incidents, or other important information to Von & Bick promptly. Follow all Von & Bick policies, procedures, and applicable training requirements. We're looking for someone who: Has a flexible schedule and can accept shifts on an as-needed basis , including occasional short-notice coverage. Is dependable and responsive when contacted regarding available shifts. Has experience supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred. Has reliable transportation and a valid driver's license if transportation is required for the assignment. Can successfully complete all required background checks, screenings, orientation, and training. Is CPR/First Aid certified or able to complete required certification. Is comfortable working independently while following the individual's established plan and Von & Bick procedures.

This is a PRN/as-needed position and does not have a set or guaranteed weekly schedule. Candidates should be comfortable with variable hours and being contacted when coverage opportunities become available.
