Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using proper manual handling techniques such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, patient monitoring, and reporting any changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization of client spaces Provide transportation assistance for appointments, errands, or community activities using personal transportation or agency vehicles Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and communicate effectively with clients and team members about resident's 's needs Skills Proven experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments Strong patient observation skills to detect changes in condition or behavior related to dementia care, Alzheimer's care Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality at all times Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or developmental delays such as autism or intellectual disabilities support Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Certification in CPR and First Aid; and PPD shot Must be able to pass a background check This rewarding role is ideal for caring individuals eager to provide compassionate support while developing their caregiving expertise.
