Direct Support Professional Acti-Kare of Marietta, is seeking compassionate, dedicated Full-time and Part Time, caregivers for our client in Cobb, Cherokee, North Fulton, and surrounding areas . At Actikare, our Caregivers help seniors remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes while building rewarding one-on-one relationships. Whether you have professional caregiving experience or simply have a heart for helping others, we provide paid training and ongoing support to help you succeed. Caregiver responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships Participate in clients' favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.) Assist clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients' physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior Be a trusted companion and provide meaningful emotional support. Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming) Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation. Offer medication reminders to keep clients safe. Accompany clients to appointments and run errands.

SHIFTS :

10 hour shift 12 hour shift 8 hour shift Evening shift On call Weekends only

Job Requirements:

Previous experience caring for Dementia seniors as a caregiver in a home care setting, assisted living, skilled nursing, rehab facility, or hospital.

Must have:
