Job Description
Overview An Direct Support Professional (DSP) supports individuals with physical, intellectual, or developmental disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities. This role is a perfect starting point for those looking to enter the healthcare or social services field. We balance hands-on caregiving with advocacy and life-skills coaching. No prior experience is necessary. To ensure the highest quality of care, we provide comprehensive training and access to CPR/First Aid certification to all entry-level staff before they are sent on their first assignment. In a group home, day program, or residential facility setting, you will create a family-like atmosphere while promoting independence and ensuring a safe, supportive environment. Applicants new to the field will undergo a mandatory orientation and hands-on skills training period prior to beginning their first shift.
