Job Description

Established in 1972, Open Path Center provides supports for adults with developmental disabilities. Our goal is to help people develop the skills needed to become independent, self-determining, and integrated into the community. As a Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for working one-on-one with someone to develop daily living skills, participate in recreational activities, and create a supportive and fun environment. Activities will focus on each person's needs, strengths, and interests, while supporting them to make decisions and advocate for themselves.
Responsibilities:
Provide supports to adults with disabilities that allow people to develop daily living skills, as well as personal skills Implement Individual Support Plans and their goals Maintain daily documentation on service delivery Communicate individual changes or needs to supervision in a timely manner Follow all state, federal, and agency regulations and policies
Qualifications:
Must be 18 or older Be able to pass a Drug Screen and Background Check High School or Equivalent Driver's License 1 Year Experience with Developmental Disabilities (Preferred) Effective verbal and written communication skills
