The CNA will provide high-quality care and support to patients in the comfort of the client's home. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and be committed to delivering exceptional patient care. A p.r.n. person with a flexible schedule. Duties Follows the instructions of the Companion Supervisor Engages the client and provides companionship Observe and report any safety hazards found in the client's home or any significant observations regarding the client Report client complaints to Companion Supervisor Assist with food preparation: serve food, performs errands, light housekeeping, laundry, wash dishes Provide assistance with hygiene such as bathing, oral care, and dressing (as needed) Perform and record accurate measurements (i.e. vital signs, or intake/output as instructed in care plans) (as needed) Able to assist obese client with changing positions in hospital bed, bathing, etc. Skills
  • Experience caring for the elderly and adults with special needs.
  • Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control practices.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Physical Requirements:
Have adequate transportation to and from job assignments. Necessary to get in/out of vehicle, walking to/from vehicle and up/downstairs as required. Requires full range of motions including handling, lifting, turning, and transferring adult patients and in use of equipment necessary to provide care to the patients. Bending, squatting, walking, and standing as needed for the duration of the shift to provide necessary nursing services, personal support services, and preventive measures as required. Be able to lift 50 pounds. Qualifications CNA license (MUST be a CNA to be considered) Minimum 1 year of personal care experience Current CPR certification (required at time of hire) Current TB test ( MUST have at time of hire ) Possession of a Drivers' License with a clean DMV record Reliable transportation Clean Criminal Background check Drug-free Status If you are committed, reliable, and passionate about making a difference in healthcare, we welcome your application.
