Are you seeking a supplemental job, that allows you to sleep? Are you looking for something very part time? Are you interested in this field, and want a slow introduction to it? Here at Community Connections, we work with adults who have Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities, living in their own homes and in need of our support. We are looking for overnight direct support staff to work with 2-3 clients in their home and community. During this shift there is paid sleep time, when all clients are down for the night. During your awake hours, you might do things such as:

• Take them in the community to attend local activities and events.
• Find recipes, plan meals, grocery shop, and help them cook meals.
• Encourage them to take care of their home and their self-care.
• Create a budget and follow it.
• Maintain relationships with family members and friends.
• Take them to appointments for support.
• Model Socially acceptable behavior.

The schedule options:

24 hours per week scheduled; Wed & Sat 8pm-8am with paid sleep time Ability to pick up one additional shift per week as needed
