We are a trusted provider of home health care services in the greater Chicago area since 2004 and continue to set the standard for exceptional care and compassion. You'll enjoy the flexibility with highly competitive pay. Northwest Home Health and Rehab is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants/Home Health Aides in the Cook and Lake County area. Are you interested in a part time, pay per visit position? This is not shift work. Your visits are tailored to your geographical location and schedule.   • We have skilled inside nursing staff to support you and be there whenever you need guidance The candidate must be certified in the State of Illinois as a Certified Nursing Assistant and have experience in home health.
Job duties include but are not limited to: Assist in ambulation or exercises Check vital signs Provide safe transfer techniques Assist with medications Assist in personal hygiene of patient Communicate with assigned registered nurse regarding condition of patient Provide personal hygiene and grooming to patients Complete appropriate records; adhere to professional standards Job Requirements Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the State of Illinois Driver's License Proof of current automobile insurance Dependable automobile Clean background check Current CPR certificate Minimum two years of experience as a CNA and at least one year in home health
