Our mission is to help seniors live safely and comfortably in their own homes. Position Overview We are seeking empathetic and reliable Caregivers to join our DOA program team. As a Caregiver, you will provide non-medical services and personal care to elderly patients in their homes. This role includes assisting with meal preparation, grooming, bathing, toileting, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and companionship activities. You'll work closely with our clinical and administrative staff to ensure each client receives the highest level of care.
Key Responsibilities:
Personal Care & Assistance Aid with daily living tasks such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing. Provide help with meal preparation and feeding if necessary. Household Support Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing client's living space. Ensure a safe, comfortable environment for seniors. Medication & Appointment Reminders Prompt clients to take medications on schedule. Assist with scheduling and reminders for medical appointments. Companionship & Engagement Offer conversation and emotional support to reduce isolation. Accompany clients for outings in the community, if needed and authorized. Documentation & Reporting Observe and report changes in client's condition or behavior to the supervisory staff. Maintain accurate daily logs as directed.
Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Age:
18 years or older.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
Background Check:
Ability to pass a criminal background check (required).
Experience:
At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred but not mandatory; we offer training for qualified candidates.
Soft Skills:
Compassion, patience, strong communication, and reliability.
Physical Ability:
Capable of assisting with mobility and some lifting as needed.
Schedule & Availability Typical Hours:
Monday - Friday, with weekend shifts as needed.
Flexible Scheduling:
Full-time or part-time options available depending on client needs.
