Part-Time DSP:
St. Colettas of Illinois owns and operates anIntermediate Care Facility (ICF) for individuals with developmental disabilities. The Intermediate Care Facility is staffed with qualified Direct Service Professionals to assist residents with cooking, cleaning, personal needs and home maintenance. The Residential Program allows for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live independently while still receiving support 24 hours a day, seven days a week.\ \ We are seeking Caregivers/DSPs who will care for individuals with developmental disabilities at the ICF located in Country Club Hills, IL. The ideal candidate will be compassionate and caring individual that is looking to make a difference in the life of people with special needs.\ \
Schedule:
Saturday
  • Sunday 7:00 AM
  • 3:00 PM OR Friday 4:00 PM
  • 12:00 AM and Saturday
  • Sunday 9:00 AM
  • 9:00 PM\ \
Pay Rate:
\$20.54 per hour\ \ \
Responsibilities:
Ensure safety, supervision and well-being of all consumers in care Maintain patient records of progress and any issues Support the individuals with task such as cleaning, showering and toileting to become more independent Responsible for the appearance of consumers and ensures that all consumers are dressed and groomed appropriately Prepare and/or assist consumers in meal preparation following approved menus Administering daily medication Provide consumer transportation in Agency vehicle Treat consumers with dignity and respect in all aspects of care providing Participate in required monthly staff meetings
Qualifications:
Physical effort will involve sitting, standing, walking, operating a vehicle, lifting up to 50 pounds, stooping, bending and stretching Must be compassionate, patient, and encouraging support professional at all times Applicants must be 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent Pass a criminal background check and physical/drug test Pass a MVR background check Valid drivers license DSP certified preferred but not required
