The ideal candidate will assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality care and maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Monitor and record vital signs to ensure the health and safety of clients. Provide patient observation to identify any changes in condition or needs. Maintain accurate medical documentation of care provided and any changes in client status. Support clients in mobility, including lifting and transferring as needed. Ensure a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship. Requirements Previous experience in home community care or assisted living is preferred but not required. Ability to lift and assist clients safely while adhering to proper techniques. Strong observational skills to monitor client health and report any concerns promptly. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and families. Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others maintain their independence and quality of life. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
