Job Description

The Illinois Center for Autism is seeking a full time Direct Support Professional.
Minimum Requirements include:
High School Diploma/GED Assist in conducting daily activities with adult clients as directed. Implement behavior management guidelines as described in IEP/ISP's. Encourage student/adult client independence in areas such as social skills, personal management skills, community activities, job readiness, communication skills. Complete documentation as designated. Assume responsibility for daily overall maintenance/housekeeping tasks required. Preference will be given to individuals that are Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Certified. Possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of three (3) consecutive years prior to review date that has not been suspended, cancelled, or revoked. The hourly wage for this positon is $21.94
