Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver/Resident Care Assistant (RCA) to join our team at a 38-bed assisted living facility. The RCA provides direct care and daily support to residents, helping to maintain their independence, dignity, and overall well-being. This role is essential in creating a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for our residents while collaborating with the broader care team. Key Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and mobility Respond promptly and respectfully to resident requests for assistance Ensure residents' living spaces are clean, safe, and comfortable Accurately document care and services provided in accordance with facility policies and procedures Follow all infection control, safety, and emergency protocols Work collaboratively with nursing staff, families, and team members to deliver high-quality care Promote resident independence, dignity, and quality of life Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in senior living, healthcare, or caregiving preferred Strong communication skills with residents, families, and team members Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Compassionate, patient, and team-oriented attitude Work Environment Fast-paced, resident-centered care setting Requires standing, walking, lifting, and assisting residents throughout shifts Schedule Details Full-time day position Includes every other weekend rotation Includes holiday rotation
Pay:
$16.00 - $16.50 per hour
