Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Support residents with medication administration and monitor vital signs in accordance with care plans Provide patient observation to ensure safety and well-being, especially for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's, or neurodevelopmental disorders Prepare nutritious meals and assist with cooking, ensuring dietary needs are met Use manual handling techniques and patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts for safe mobility assistance Maintain accurate documentation of care plans, patient progress, and incident reports while respecting HIPAA privacy regulations Engage residents in meaningful activities and facilitate communication to promote social interaction and mental stimulation Skills Proven experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments Strong knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and hospice care practices Skilled in patient monitoring, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and first aid/CPR certification Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with patient transfers using Hoyer lifts or other equipment Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities supporting their unique needs Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration Knowledge of resident's rights and ethical caregiving practices to uphold dignity and independence Join us in making a positive impact through compassionate caregiving!
