Every other weekend BrightStar Care of Fort Wayne is seeking compassionate professionals with Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) backgrounds for one-on-one home care opportunities in Huntington, IN. Help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. We welcome experienced caregivers and newly certified aides seeking meaningful work, flexible scheduling, and supportive clinical leadership. Pay and Scheduling Full-time and part-time opportunities across all shifts in Huntington, IN Hourly rates based on assignment, care needs, shift, experience, and qualifications Higher rates may apply to designated weekend, overnight, on-call, or higher-care assignments Every-other-weekend availability required Qualifications Experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred Related caregiver, personal care assistant, or direct support experience welcomed Newly certified HHAs and CNAs encouraged to apply Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance Ability to safely assist with mobility and transfers Comfort working independently in clients' homes Dependable attendance and strong communication skills Ability to pass required background and pre-employment screenings Commitment to safe, respectful, high-quality care What You'll Do Bring your Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) skills to daily care that supports each client's needs and independence. Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Help with mobility, positioning, transfers, and fall prevention. Provide companionship and emotional support. Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed. Complete light housekeeping and help maintain a safe home. Provide medication reminders according to the care plan. Assist with errands and approved activities. Document care and report changes in client condition. Follow the individualized care plan and safety procedures. Protect client dignity, privacy, and personal choices. Follow HIPAA requirements and agency policies.
