In this vital role, you will provide attentive, respectful, and personalized assistance to promote independence, safety, and well-being. Whether working in a home health setting, assisted living facility, or group home, your dedication will help clients maintain their dignity and quality of life while receiving the highest standard of care. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support using proper patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques. Monitor patients' health by observing vital signs, assessing mental status, and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals promptly. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation. Support medication administration following prescribed schedules while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients with dementia Assist with transportation for appointments or errands using personal transportation assistance methods while ensuring client safety at all times. Skills Proven experience working in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes with elderly or disabled populations. Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques, patient monitoring, and understanding residents' rights. Ability to perform CPR and First Aid confidently; experience with hospice care or geriatrics is a plus. Skilled in assisting with ADLs through manual handling techniques; experience working with individuals with autism or intellectual disabilities is highly valued. Pay:
