We are seeking a caring, dependable, and compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our growing Home Health team. In this role, you will provide individualized care that helps residents maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes. Position Summary The Home Health Aide provides personal care and supportive services to residents receiving home health services in accordance with an individualized plan of care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Essential Responsibilities Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene assistance. Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation while promoting safety. Provide medication reminders as directed by the care plan. Observe, document, and promptly report changes in resident condition to the supervising nurse. Assist with light housekeeping and other tasks outlined in the plan of care. Maintain accurate documentation of services provided. Build meaningful relationships with residents while promoting dignity, independence, and respect. Follow all infection prevention, safety, confidentiality, and HIPAA requirements. Maintain CPR certification and complete all required in-service education. Qualifications Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent, or actively pursuing a high school diploma or
GED. MUST
meet one of the following qualifications: Registered in the State of Indiana and in good standing as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA). Registered in the State of Indiana and in good standing as a Home Health Aide (HHA). Successful completion of 75 hours of Home Health Aide training, Home Health Aide competency and skills testing, and eligibility for Indiana registration. No certification? No problem! We offer a FREE Home Health Aide certification program. BLS CPR certification preferred (FREE certification provided if needed). One year of home health or direct patient care experience preferred but not required. Why Join Pines Village?
