Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Position Summary:

We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated staff to support participants in developing life skills, social skills, and community engagement. This position plays a vital role in encouraging independence, building confidence, and creating a safe, positive environment each day.

Requirements:

Applicants must: Pass both background and drug screenings. Be at least 18 years of age. Be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. Have high school diploma or GED. Have reliable transportation. Have a working cell phone (to clock in and out).

Responsibilities:

As a DSP, you will be responsible for: Completing all necessary training and attending required staff meetings. Completing paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. Providing care, supervision, and support to adult individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Assisting with daily activities, personal care, meal preparation, and/or medication administration. Ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the participant's living environment. Supporting the individuals while they participate in community activities. Fostering positive relationships of care and respect with the individuals served.
