Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Staffed Residence Build a Career. Build a Home. Build a Future.
Schedule:
Full-Time, Part-Time, & PRN Location:
Frankfort, Kentucky Join us at one of our community-based staffed residences. We aren't just a care provider; we are a team dedicated to "Doing the right thing for the right reason." As a DSP in a staffed residence, you provide the essential support that allows individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to thrive in a home of their own. The Role Working in a staffed residence means you are the heartbeat of the home. You will support participants in their daily routines, helping them maintain their independence while ensuring a safe, supportive, and joyful environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Living Assistance:
Support participants with ADLs, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and light housekeeping to keep the home running smoothly.
Medication & Safety:
Administer prescribed medications accurately and prioritize the health and welfare of every resident.
Goal Mentorship:
Actively engage with participants to help them achieve their personal goals and skill-building milestones.
Community & Connection:
Plan activities, go out—most importantly— have fun with the residents!
Reporting:
Complete daily progress notes and documentation with accuracy and care.
Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Age:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Screening:
Must pass background checks and drug screening.
Credentials:
Valid Driver's License and active auto insurance.
Skills:
