Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Direct Support Professional to provide exceptional care and assistance to part with diverse needs. In this vital role, you will empower residents to live fulfilling, independent lives by supporting their daily activities, ensuring safety, and fostering a positive environment. Your dedication will help enhance quality of life for participants making a meaningful difference every day. Responsibilities Assist participants with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor participants health by taking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA confidentiality standards Prepare nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with dietary guidelines and individual preferences Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by performing routine cleaning and sanitation tasks Support participants during outings or community activities to promote social engagement and independence Skills Proven experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings with individuals who have severe mental illness Knowledge of patient care techniques including assisting with ADLs, medication administration, and patient monitoring Strong observational skills Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, residents, families, and healthcare professionals Compassionate attitude with patience for working with participants Join us in creating a supportive environment where every participant receives respectful care tailored to their unique needs.
