Resident Care Assistant

Rivercrest Place Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate and dependable individual to join our care team in supporting residents with daily living needs and helping create a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment. In this role, you will provide hands-on assistance, companionship, and encouragement while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence for every resident. Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and toileting as needed Provide companionship and emotional support in a respectful and professional manner Support residents with mealtime assistance, hydration, and routine daily needs Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns promptly to the appropriate team members Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment Follow care plans, safety procedures, and facility policies at all times Document care and observations accurately according to organizational guidelines Collaborate with nurses, supervisors, and other team members to support quality resident care Encourage resident independence while providing appropriate assistance and supervision Qualifications Compassionate, patient, and committed to providing respectful care Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow instructions, care plans, and safety protocols Dependable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Experience in a care, support, or healthcare environment is preferred Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including assisting with mobility and lifting as appropriate Preferred Attributes Kind and empathetic approach to resident support Attention to detail when observing and documenting care needs Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends or holidays if needed Commitment to person-centered care and resident dignity What We Offer Supportive team environment Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in residents' lives Training and development opportunities Competitive compensation and benefits, based on experience and location If you are dedicated to helping others and take pride in providing thoughtful, high-quality care, we encourage you to apply.
