Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Support patient transfer methods using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer techniques to ensure safety during movement Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols Document patient observations, care activities, and communication in compliance with HIPAA regulations Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance mental well-being, especially for clients with dementia or neurodevelopmental disorders Skills Proven experience working with individuals in a senior care environment Strong knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and first aid/CPR certification Familiarity with care plans, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and home & community care experience Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and assisting with transfers using proper patient transfer methods Excellent client communication skills to effectively support residents' needs and foster trustful relationships Knowledge of HIPAA compliance to ensure confidentiality of patient information Join us in delivering exceptional personal care that promotes dignity and independence!
