38 Overview Join our team as a Direct Support Professional and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with developmental and cognitive disabilities. This role focuses on compassionate, person‑centered support that promotes independence, safety, and quality of life. Responsibilities Provide medication reminders or administration per agency policy Support positive behavior strategies and skill‑building Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs Maintain a clean, safe home environment Engage clients in meaningful activities and community outings Provide transportation to appointments and activities Document daily activities and communicate changes in client needs Qualifications Experience in home care, disability services, or assisted living preferred Knowledge of developmental disabilities or behavior support helpful CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication, patience, and empathy Ability to lift safely and follow care plans Reliable, organized, and adaptable Make a difference every day.
