Responsibilities Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation Support clients in social, educational, and recreational activities to promote engagement and skill development Assist with transportation needs using personal or agency vehicles for appointments, community outings, or errands Implement behavior management strategies tailored to each individual's needs to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors Collect data on client progress and behaviors to inform care plans and support team collaboration Administer medication following prescribed protocols and document all medication-related activities accurately Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure consistent and compassionate care delivery This role is ideal for compassionate individuals eager to develop their caregiving skills while supporting individuals with diverse needs.
