Direct Service Worker Ageless Healthcare - 3.3 Gentilly, LA Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $9 an hour 20 hours ago Qualifications Experience working with individuals with disabilities Caregiving Assisting with ADLs Meal preparation Laundry Direct support Personal transportation assistance Experience working with individuals with physical disabilities Full Job Description Must have a vehicle and be willing to transport. Applicants must have a passion for serving individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate will assist individuals with daily living activities, promote independence, and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities:
Assist participant with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility Support participant with household tasks including meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry Accompany participant to appointments if needed Follow an individualized plan of care and report any changes in the participant's condition. Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for the participant. Communicate effectively with participants, families, and supervisors Respect participants' confidentiality and dignity at all times.
Qualifications:
Passion for serving individuals with disabilities Ability to assist with physical tasks and mobility support if needed Strong communication and interpersonal skills Dependable, punctual, and professional appearance Previous experience in caregiving or similar roles preferred but not required Please submit your resume on Indeed to be considered.
