Ville Ste. Marie Senior Living Community is an Independent and Assisted Living Community. Part Time and Full Time positions are currently available. CPR & First Aid Certified is a PLUS. Must be drug free, have a clean criminal record and a negative TB. Must be available to work all shifts -- 7-3, 3-11 and 11-7. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote dignity and independence. Monitor patients' vital signs, observe changes in health status, and report findings accurately to healthcare professionals. Support medication reminders following care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Provide patient personal care assistance including mobility support using manual handling techniques like Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods. Maintain a clean environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning client spaces and laundry. Document care activities meticulously in compliance with healthcare standards and ensure accurate communication with the care team. Engage in patient observation to detect early signs of health deterioration or behavioral changes for timely intervention. Experience Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or neurodevelopmental disorders. Hands-on experience in patient monitoring, medication reminders, vital signs measurement, CPR certification, and first aid procedures. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information at all times. Experience providing long-term care is advantageous.
