MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE JOB DESCRIPTION
Port City Enterprise seeking Direct Service Worker who are reliable and accountable, provides hands-on support to individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral health needs, or other support requirements. The role focuses on promoting independence, safety, dignity, and quality of life while assisting individuals with daily activities and personal goals. Provide direct care and individualized support based on each person's needs and service plan.
PAY:
$10 - $14 (BASE
ON ASSIGNMENT
) Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, meals, mobility, and household tasks as appropriate. Support individuals in developing and maintaining independence, social skills, communication skills, and community involvement. Implement behavioral, therapeutic, and skill-building strategies according to established care plans Monitor individuals' safety, health, and well-being and report concerns promptly. Transport or accompany individuals to appointments, recreational activities, employment, educational programs, and community events when required. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, activities, incidents, and observations. Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in direct care, disability services, behavioral health, healthcare, or a related field is preferred. Ability to remain patient, professional, and respectful in challenging situations. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries. Ability to complete required training, certifications, background checks, and other employment requirements. Work Environment This position may involve working in residential homes, day programs, community settings, healthcare facilities, or individuals' homes. Schedules may include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, or overnight shifts, depending on the individual's service needs.
Pay:
$10.00 - $14.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
