Due to insurance policies, applicant MUST have HHA or CNA certification. Homemaker certificate or PCA experience is not sufficient. Current opening is 8am-11am every day in West Springfield, with great probability of more shifts when available if desired. Open availability and willingness to cover callout shifts as needed is preferred.

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a compassionate CNA or Home Health Aide to join our team in providing exceptional care to individuals within their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, personal care, and ensuring their well-being in a home care setting.

Duties:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and assist with feeding if necessary.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Help clients with mobility issues by providing assistance with walking, transferring, and positioning.
• Document client progress and any changes in their condition.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for clients.
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience in cooking and meal preparation.
• Familiarity with assisted living and home care practices.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized living space.
• Compassionate attitude towards providing care for others.
• Ability to lift and assist clients as needed (including using a Hoyer lift).
• Previous experience in home community care is preferred.
