Full Job Description Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and assistance to patients in their homes or assisted living facilities.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
  • Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals.
  • Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification as a Home Health Aide or completion of a state-approved training program.
  • Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures.
  • Familiarity with hospice care and senior care services.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to caregiving.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Understanding of medical documentation and record keeping procedures.
