Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Personal Care Assistants (PCAs), or Caregivers to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in various settings, including home health, assisted living, nursing homes, and memory care facilities. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote independence and dignity Monitor patients' health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings to healthcare professionals Support medication administration following proper protocols and maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet individual dietary needs Use proper patient transfer methods, including Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques, to ensure safe mobility and prevent injury Maintain a clean and safe environment through light cleaning duties and proper infection control practices Support clients with personal transportation assistance for appointments or errands as needed Skills Prior experience working in group homes, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home health environments is highly desirable Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in condition or behavior promptly Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism supports effective caregiving Ability to perform patient monitoring, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and basic first aid including CPR certification Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities support is a plus Familiarity with resident's rights policies and care plans ensures respectful and personalized care delivery Proficiency in manual handling techniques like the use of Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods for safe mobility assistance Excellent client communication skills to foster trust and understanding during caregiving activities Capable of assisting with heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols for both clients and caregivers Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times Join our team if you are passionate about providing compassionate care that truly makes a difference!
