Join our Life Enrichment Team to provide meaningful hands-on support through personal care, therapeutic activities, skills-building, advocacy and community participation. We are actively hiring Direct Support Professionals to join our dedicated team.. This position provides direct care to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As part of the direct care , you will assist with feeding, toileting, and other personal hygiene needs. We will train you to operate assistive equipment (lifts and wheelchairs, etc.) in order to further support the people we provide services to. There may be occasions when non-violent intervention techniques must be implemented

• you will be taught by our certified trainers.

Resiliency for working with highly physical and mentally stressful situations. Body mechanics and strength requirements are needed when working with and assisting individuals utilizing wheelchairs, gait belts, lifts, or mat work.

Shifts:

Per Diem, 32-hours full time; 37.5 hours full time; 40 hours full time (includes afternoon driving or monitoring shift on a Riverside van)

At least 18 years old 3 years of driving experience, and an excellent driving record preferred Able to pass a pre-employment CORI, SORI, and Fingerprinting . High School Diploma or GED .
