We currently have opportunities for Home Health Aides, Personal Care Homemakers and Home makers and within the Fall River area. Caregivers are required to possess a empathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, ability to read, write and carry out directions maturity and the ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job. Additionally, all HHAs and PCHMs must satisfactorily complete the standard Health Aide (HHA), Personal Care Homemakers (PCHM) and Homemakers (HM) certification program.
Requirements :
Current HHA/PCHM and HM certification. Bi-lingual - English/Portuguese preferred.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Appropriately assist clients with personal care activities and provide companionship tasks in accordance with the care plan. Appropriately assist with household tasks directly related to the client's health and in accordance with the care plan. Utilize equipment in an appropriate and safe manner. Perform simple procedures as an extension of therapy services. Remind client for self-administration of medication. Document services provided accurately.
