We offer a competitive wage of $17.50-$19.00 per hour for this entry-level role. DAY-TO-DAY
In this dynamic role, you play a crucial part in ensuring the well-being of students by maintaining flexibility in your weekday work hours to accompany them on medical appointments. Your responsibilities include providing safe transportation, facilitating communication between nursing staff and medical professionals, and offering personal care and instructional support to students unable to attend class due to illness. You also contribute to the cleanliness of the vans. Emphasizing open communication, you accept feedback, attend meetings and trainings, and implement positive behavior support practices. When not involved in transportation services, you seamlessly transition to working in a classroom as a Teacher's Aide, offering direct care, assisting with educational and therapeutic services, and contributing to student progress evaluations. Your diverse skill set and commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful environment make you an invaluable asset to the team!
YOUR SCHEDULE
The typical schedule is 7:30am - 4:30pm. There is a need for flexibility as the appointments you take students to may be earlier or later in the day.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license
