Whether assisting with daily activities or offering specialized care, you will be an essential part of a team committed to delivering high-quality home healthcare services. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Support patients with complex needs such as catheter care, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and end-of-life support Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions accurately and securely Facilitate patient transfers using appropriate methods such as Hoyer lifts or transfer belts while ensuring safety Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks like laundry and meal preparation Skills Proven experience working with geriatric patients, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring memory care or hospice services Familiarity with assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health agency operations is preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate patient transfer equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams Knowledge of home health care assistance regulations and compliance standards like HIPAA Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is advantageous Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Embark on a rewarding career that empowers you to improve lives through compassionate caregiving.
